Massachusetts State Primary Results Roll In
Race for Governor
In the Democratic primary for governor, Maura Healey emerged victorious, securing 67.0% of the vote. Her closest competitor, Sonia Chang-DÃaz, received 18.7% of the votes.
On the Republican side, Geoff Diehl won the primary with 55.8% of the votes. He was closely followed by Chris Doughty, who received 30.1% of the votes.
Race for Attorney General
Andrea Campbell won the Democratic primary for attorney general, securing 50.8% of the vote. Shannon Liss-Riordan came in second with 28.6% of the votes.
In the Republican primary for attorney general, James McMahon won with 58.5% of the votes, followed by Jay McMahon with 41.5% of the votes.
Race for Secretary of State
William Galvin won the Democratic primary for secretary of state, securing 79% of the vote. He will face off against Republican Rayla Campbell in the general election.
